That's easy.. you remove the 6.0 and put in a 5.9...

Can you say Fummins. I would rather do the 6.7 so you get the exhaust brake.

5.9 had exhuast brake avaliable too...


and you dont want 6.7... too much emissions

yea 6.7=crap 5.9=

hey CTC, or anyone else for that matter, how much would it cost to do all of that to make a 6.0...non crappy?

Oil screen, while you take oil cooler out, this screen needs to be changed.
ADD a COOLANT filtration system, this is why these engines fail
Flush the entire cooalnt system with a flush from International, it nuetralizes the acid.
Head studs are a MUST!
Oil Filter, add 1-2 more spin-offs to your system.. the stock system is horrible yucky anf lets LOTS of particles through right into your high psi pump!!!

DONT wait til you start to have problems, get this done now!!!

to lift cab and install head studs, its around $5000. bout all I can say, I dont qoute it, I just do it!

yal overcharge like a mother ****er.

its $2800 OTD here to do ARP studs and an EGR delete.

what are you guys not even lifting heads off block? just pulling each bolt and replacing with studs??? hahaha

pulls the cab and pulls the heads. he had 2 trucks in his shop getting the mods done when i was down there.

A lot of gloom and doom towards my '06 6.0 CC Dually after reading all this. Only has 25,000 miles on it now, so should I consider selling it now and getting a new '10 6.4? Any known drama with that engine yet?
