Talk all you want about the product that you are paid to service. I'm sure you'll be doing the same thankless job for years to come with an attitude like that.

Will the 6.7 live up to the hype Ford is putting out? They seem to think so...only time will tell.
Maybe the problem was the fact that Ford was using an "off-the-shelf" engine and adapting it to their truck. The changes that Ford made in that "adaptation" seem to be what caused the issues. Perhaps the in-house engine will be better...we shall see. It still pisses me off that it's not made in the US.

It simply shows that the 6.7's power is very significant if not dominating, without any drama........Rednecks seem to have a problem with that because they are used to drama........

Nice to see you're comparing stock to stock.

Why not wait and see what the 6.7L is gonna be like before bashing it as crap? Or is the 6.4L the greatest engine EVER just because YOU own one?

Do you really think that Navistar allowed Ford to take an "off the shelf" engine and modify it however they wanted with ZERO input from Navistar? You can't be that naive.

So first let me say, I know nothing - you guys have forgotten more about trucks than I will ever know. But, wheels spinning or not, stock or not, I'm pretty impressed to see that thing pulled by anything other than a tractor trailer with a flatbed!

As i said my brother is a diesel mechanic and he works on plenty of international engines in industrial size trucks, not on fords...he says he hates them that there all crap...not just the ones ford puts in their trucks...he works on them daily and he thinks THEY'RE JUNK. I agree with you and i hope the 6.7 is a good engine since Ford is puttin out so much hype about it but time will tell it might be junk as well.

I just don't think you can argue with a mechanic that works on these engines daily...imo.

I dont know much about internationals but theres a reason that you can buy one for 50% less than a mack or a pete or even a sterling in a big truck. everyone I know with an international has had problems with it.
