How many miles are on that truck? I think the largest tire you can fit on that truck is gonna be 235/85/16, but I'm not sure. Read around on a diesel site. If you had a SRW, you could do 285/75/16 for sure. Tow mirrors aren't too expensive (as long as you stay away from heated/lighted)... Are your mirrors power? We need more pics also.

You can fit 255/85/16's on the truck, but depending on how big of side lugs the tires have the rear tires may rub together when you have a big load in the bed. I would say try it first and see if you get any rubbing but a small spacer (1/4-3/8") placed between the rear wheels will take care of any rubbing they there may be when loaded.

Also check ebay for towing mirrors, you can usually find them on there for $200-250 for a set.

Thanks for the tire advice guys. I'm due up for a new set, and I'd like to put the largest tire I can on it.

Probably break it.... Since I have a spare truck now, I've been really mean to "Larry"(the '97) lately. Jumping stuff, driving through ditches, flying across the field at 70mph etc. But for now, it's my work/hog hunting truck. It still has all the tool boxes on it. Gotta get me some boxes for the F-350!

Nope. I wanted it that way. I don't care for the powerstroke.

I'll post a pic of the 20ft burnout it did yesterday. (tires are original and dryrotted) I couldn't believe a dually truck will do that. I think it has 4.30 gears! It's relatively quick, but it will only do 96.5 top speed. It's gryphon time!

Just a quick question... I was thinking about putting on BFG all-terrains. Reckon what's the widest tire I can run without the rears hitting or the front scrubbing? I don't want to space them out much if any, cause it throws mud allover the truck. Any advice would be appreciated.
Ebay.

Try not purposely beating on it too hard. I want to see how many miles you can get out of it. I think you are at 270k now days?

Odometer says 276K I think, but it is broke. It registers miles only when hitting bumps.
