Batteries?

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but does any body have any suggestions for batteries for a 2000 F250 7.3L turbo diesel crew cab 4X4. In general how do you select a proper battery for your rig? I tow and off road depending on the seasons and I'm also from northern Wisconsin (if the cold weather makes any difference in choice either).

You'll want two 1000 CCA batteries. I'm running the Costco Brand (Kirklands) in my truck.

I plan on putting two big Odyssey batteries in mine when they go bad.

We have a 05 F350 6.0L and a 02 F350 7.3L, both of which have 850CCA batterys in them from Farm and Fleet. F & F seems to have the best prices and also very good batterys. You shouldn't have a problem with 850 cca for higher.
