i want this

1995 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY 3/4 TON XL POWER STROKE TURBO 4X4, 2dr, Manual, 4x4, Cylinders 8, Diesel, AM/FM Stereo, Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tow Package, 4th Door, VERY NICE SHAPE, NO ACCIDENT OR RUST.,

i want this. but im scared of buying used for obvious reasons, but then again i dont wanna dish out $25,000 on some of the newer model ugly (in my opinion) f-series trucks when i could just buy something older which i like and spend some to fix it up a bit?

any idea how much it would cost to maybe rebuild the tranny, fix it up a little and give it a second wind?

Nice .. Got the 7.3 Turbo probably.... I got a buddy thats got a 350 same body style .. I also have a 1993 xl with a 300 6cyl same body style... I actually like that body style better than my FX4 body style.. There is alot of stuff you can do with that diesel as well .. Plus the 7.3 pulls like a SOB... I almost bought a diesel , but at the time I was looking diesel was almost 5.00 a gallon

Wow! How'd you figure that out? Besides the fact that the add says POWERSTROKE TURBO...

cbes, how many miles are on that truck? It's an XL. As for the tranny, I'd be more worried about the clutch.

EDIT: And it has the awful blue interior with a cracked dash... Looks clean though.

The site says 250,000 kilometers which = 155,342.8 miles? She's just getting broken in. Trueblue Ford!

Yeah right. You forgot about the suspension, trans, alternator, seats, radio, a/c, floor, brakes, etc. It's about 1/2 worn out. Once you get over 300,000 it's shot. The motor and trans can be fine, but they're not the only thing that gets worn out.

Now if it isn't your daily driver and you like piddling around with stuff then....
