FreekyFx4, I am always impressed with your truck, especially how those wheels shine.

Thanks guys! I am sure that it's a lot easier to take care of wheels here in the south than it is in Iowa. Not much salt on the roads here. I just put a good coat of wax on them once a year. I even clean the back sides of the wheels when I rotate the tires. They are as shiny on the back as they are on the front. The guys at the dealership make fun of me.

You have to say that with a spanish accent...you know, so that rims is pronounced "reems", kinda' like "our leeps are so close!" Your "reems" are so shiny! Do not underestimate the shininess!

Anyway, I had to pull the bumper off today. It peeled around one of the foglight buckets. I contacted Warn, and they gave me the choice of them sending me a replacement bumer (at their expense) or having the bumper recoated with LineX. I took the LineX option and had it sprayed today. It looks great. I will get some pictures tomorrow before and after I install it.

...with an accent "We don't need no stinkin' badges!!'

anyway...Line-X is awesome - it's a great spray-in liner and it looks about the same as it did 3 years ago when I had it applied....well, better than anything else that has had rocks, dirt, lumber, bricks..etc on top of it......good stuff!!!

We had this conversation before I think ~

Yup! I don't have LineX in my bed, but if I was to get a spray-in bedliner, that's what I would get. I actually like my "bedmat|bedliner|bedmat sandwich" that I have going on. I pull them out twice a year, give the bed a good coat of wax, touch up any places where the paint is getting thin, then put the "sandwich" back in the bed. The bottom bedmat really resists bed vibration and keeps the bedliner from scratching the bed. The bedliner keeps things from denting the bed. The top bedmat keeps things from sliding around in the bed and really cuts down on bedliner vibration. The whole thing is about 2" thick! It all works well and only cost $220. But, like I said, if I was to get a spray-on bedliner, there's no way I would get anything but the best!

Your truck is badass dude! The Line-X on the guard is sweet.

You oughta flip one of your hooks the other direction just to make them even. Just my $.02.

Thanks! I debated the shackle thing for a long time. I had my son look at it and I tried it both ways. Honestly, the only reason I turned them both the same way was that the shackles only say "Warn" in red on one side, so I put that side out on both of them. If I flip one, then only one of them will have the writing on it. I may still do that...that's pretty easy.

You can always get 'em chromed - looks great - especially with what you have! This one is 6 years old and has been used and outside the whole time.

Oh, that's awesome! Is that a 3/4" shackle too? Did you buy it already chromed or did you have it chromed?
