So my dad bought a 08 F-250 FX4 over the summer and he is really mad at two things

the intrument cluster does not say the temperature outside nor the direction he is going.


i have an 08 f-150 lariat and it says both of these

so his question is, is there any way for him to get both of those features on it? He has avg. MPG, trip log, etc etc but not the two mentioned above.

any help would be great

 

I think the only way to add those features is to buy the rear view mirror with compass and temperature readout.

 

does ford make one of those?

the only problem is he already has the backup camera in the rearview mirror

do the f-250 or 350 lariats even have temperature and direction?

 

I was a little upset about this too. Pay this much for a truck and not get some of the basics. The power rear window, compass and temperature were my three complaints. I plan to get the mirror which has the compass and temperature on it, but I have no plans in the near future for the power rear window. If your dad has the rear view camera in the mirror, I think the only other option is to get a gauge or pod and hook up an external type display for those options.
