window sticker says it all!! the diesel is 6895 in the US, and 1490 for 5spd auto.

they are billing you 8570 for the diesel.

Congrats on the new truck! You'll love it, and the mileage does get better (slowly but eventually).

Personally, I think the interior is far better than the previous design and more upscale (not gimmicky as someone else suggested but I guess it is all personal taste).
