Actually i had a 06 6.0 and got between 16 and 20 MPG with the banks 6 gun. I am basically trying to decide if i want to buy another 6.0 (07 harley) or get an 08 Lariat.

As far as being concerned about fuel economy and buying a power stroke. This is a silly statement. Over the life of the vehicle the difference between getting 18MPG and 12MPG is quite large. Afterall, the stroke is needed to pull my toys. At 12MPG I may not have any toy money left.

FYI,
I live in Houston and drive 31 miles each way in stop in go traffic. It gets expemsive fast.

I agree SVT no matter what one has one wants to get the best mileage they can. I have an F-150 and i occasionally tow with it and the mileage is p@@@ poor but i can tow the same thing with a Powerstroke and get a heck of a lot better mileage.

Example: Empty my truck gets bout 14mpg my buddies truck loaded with couple bikes in bed and 14ft utility trailer loaded gets bout 18 or so mine with the same trailer empty 10mpg if im lucky.

Either way i like my truck but i do want a late model 7.3 for towing duties and to blow black smoke in peoples' winders.
