I am wanting to know if anyone has thought about or even done an exhaust swap from a '99-'04 lightning to a 2001 or older or newer F-250 with a 5.4ltr engine. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated and I thank anyone that does respond and I will try and answer back as soon as I can thanks alot and have a great day, later.

 

Um. Why? There are much better and cheaper options out there.

 

I can pick up a whole system from the manifolds back for about 200 and I already have a set of flowmasters, and I can get it all installed for about 100 bucks. I am doing this for my dad, the truck is his and he is wanting true duals on the truck so I am doing my best to figure something out and I think this is the best way to go. Please anymore responses will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

I could be wrong, but isn't the Lightning system not a true dual exhaust? Either way, there are still better and cheaper options out there. A Lightning exhaust is going to be way too short for any F-250, not to mention that it is a totally different truck. Have him keep the manifolds he has now and have an exhaust shop bend up a custom true dual exhaust for him.
