I was told by AFE that some guys are running this tuner and bypassing the Particular Filter and getting around 23-30 MPH. Has anyone tried or heard this?

30 MPG is a big ole pile of bull. Maybe 20 MPG on a good day. Yes they are doing this, but it will void your factory warranty. Ya gotta pay to play...

 

Yeah, I am hearing an average of 20-23 MPG and 150+HP. I am waiting until the end of summer to let a few more people try it out, but its absolutly in the works for me.

One thing about these trucks I have heard again and again is if you plan to tune it do away with the PDF or it will stop it up eventually. If you dont want to do that then leave it stock...and get 12MPG.

 

Right now I am using the PPE Tuner. It only gives me a little bumo in horse power and torque and o far (3500 miles) all is well. I'm also riding on 37" tires and a 6" lift so I dont expect much of a gas mile bump,but I did go from 9.2 MPH to 12.2MPH and I dont have the AFE Intake yet. I am also waiting untill the end of summer to see how the Spartan tuner works. I did talk to one of the owners of Spartan and they do have 2 versions. One you keep the PF pipe and the other you remove it and install the pipi they send you.
