Looks nice, don't think I'd want the diesel with the fire problems they have been having
i can get 11mpg-12mpg with my v-10, not much worse than 14mpg i was getting with my f-150. the v-10 is a great motor. my mileage didn't even suffer when i put wheels and tires on it.

Dumb question alert....
Why do the new 250's have that "intake" on the front fenders? Or is it just cosmetic?
If it was for the PSD to get more air I get that, but on a V10 what would be the purpose? Same thing?
congrats on your new truck btw....

Thanks guys, really like the truck so far. The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that it doesn’t have a outside temp reading. I got the V10 since I don’t want or need a diesel pickup. I was originally planed on just getting the 5.4 put the salesman talked me out of it. As far as the fender intake holes I believe they are functional but I can’t really tell.

My 2006 F-150 5.4L Triton with the 3.73 gears was getting 12.75. I'll take the quietness, 12,500 lb towing and sheer size for 1.25 mgp....
Let's face it, MPG sucks but boy that truck is sweet....Congrats

Steve V,
I got the mirror on ebay, I paid around $26.00 plus shipping. No brand name is on the mirror, box, or paper work. The sellers store on ebay is Advance Mcs Electronics, do a search as "AUTO DIMMING MIRROR COMPASS TEMPERATURE ICE ALERT" and it should come up. Two wires run from the UV sensor mounted in a special license plate bolt and two wires for the temp sensor run from inside the plastic housing under the bumper. Ran all four wires along the drivers side engine compartment to the fire wall. There all 2 small cut outs in the fire wall covered by thick foam tape, I removed the tape and ran the wires through these holes and under the dash. Ran the 4 wires up the pillar and into the headliner. Ran 3 wires (hot, acc, ground) from the mirror, under the headliner, down the pillar, and to the fuse box. The wires are bundled tightly so only a few inches of encased wired shows coming from the headliner to the main multi-pin plug that goes into the back of the mirror. The wires are less noticable than the OEM factory dimming mirror that was on my previous F-150. Hopes this helps.
