Its is regenerative exaust, it clenses the glow plugs, cats, muffler etc, every 3,000 miles. It basically burns the exaust extremely hot. Recorded as high as 1300*F at the exaust tip...

that is wicked cool! ...if only you could control when it does that

imagine the ricer with his windows down and bass thumpin at a stop light, he would have to change his shorts seeing that, not to mention some fake eyebrows

Dang... I had read about the fires in their exhaust pipes and the recall, but never expected it to be that strong of a fire.
