3 to 4 months??? Should only need to be replaced every 15-20k.

90 days! Like milk, oil goes bad after 90 days! All my vehicles get new oil and filters every 90 days. Then again, my driving comes under the extreme service area. Very short (4 or 5 miles) runs. Oil is cheap, parts are not.

Yes, I know. It is a little excessive for my diesel but, for $60 bucks my Ford dealer uses all Motorcraft parts, oil and, (worth at least $30 to me) greases all the fittings. I simply hate using a grease gun!

I believe we are talking about fuel filters, not oil filters...........
