2007 F-250 XLT, How much $$$?

I went to the Ford website and built a 2007 F-250 SD XLT with a 6.8L V10, Torqshift tranny, 4.3 axle, FX4 off road package, Heavy Service Package, Towcommand system, and a few smaller extras. They gave me a MSRP of $37,375.
So, what should expect to actually pay?

Thanks!

How do you arrive at this?? Should a person expect to pay about 85% of MSRP??

Try to get them to at least dealer invoice on the truck. If this is a high volume dealer this shouldn't be a problem. My 2006 F-150 that I just purchased on the 1st of January stickered for $38,675 and I got them down to $26,500 before TT&L

Hit www.edmunds.com ... you can build your truck there, it will give MSRP and Dealer Invoice on the vehicle and the options.

Based on personal experience and knowing how to buy a vehicle.

Like another member listed below me, even better deals can be had with ad units and such.

I got my Dad his 2004 Lariat 4x4 F150 screw, stickered at 40,265 for $31,000 OTD back in the release year!

Some people know how to buy cars, others make the dealers LOTS and LOTS of money

My 2007 stickered at $50,000 and I think I got it for around $43,000. My truck was on the lot a couple of months. That was 3 months ago. You can probably even get a better deal now with the 2008s coming out.

You need to look at the window sticker then build up the same exact truck with options at www.nada.com to find out the invoice price. That will give you something to work with I believe.

Ok, I went to that website and I got a MSRP of $38,620 and an invoice price of $34,350. So what would be a fair price for me to pay?

price

I would pay no more than $34,600 BEFORE rebates if you really want that truck. Remember, dealers get the same rebates as you. There are dealers out there that will sell that truck for invoice because the invoice is so high and they still get a 3% dealer holdback.

wait until the 2008's come out and then they will REALLY be dealing on the 07's

all the nutjob armchair getter-done's here buy the diesels, so you can likely get a good deal on the v10

It will be hard to find a v-10, so if you can I would get the diesel because with the 2008s coming out you could get a diesel for the same as a v-10 and the diesel gets better mpg and it last longer!
