For those with the brake controller option, is it worth the extra $$ or is a Prodigy controller still a way better unit.

I'm looking at trading in my 04 F150 FX4 for a diesel. I have too much trailer for it to pull....I can tell it is begging me to stop torturing it on hills.

I love the fact the new F250 have the controller built in...out of the way.... but is it a good unit?

 

In my opinion it is well worth the extra money to get the built in brake controller. In my experience, it works great. I still have a Prodigy on wife's Denali that I used prior to buying my F250.

If you're looking for a Prodigy, I'll sell the one off my wife's Denali.
