Coming Back

After a year of not having a truck, it looks like I am coming back. I had a 2002 F150 Screw FX4 5.4, the truck was great put on 32K then decided to get rid of it. Now it looks like a F350 Lariat CC FX4 6.0 will be the replacement. I am a little reluctant only because I have heard about many issues with the 6.0, but I hope that Ford has got it worked out since they have had 2 yrs to get it figured out.

There were a lot of gremlins in the 6.0 the first year; but since then- I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I too believe the bugs have been worked out of the 6.0 by now. I have heard bad things about the Torq shift trans in snow plowing applications. The cases have been cracking. 04 had a problem with a planetary moon gear shaft walking out of place. 05 has had a snap ring come out of place. I think I got that right. Welcome back.

New Ride

Well I finally got the "big truck" I took delivery of it 2 weeks ago, the first Sat I lifted it with the 4" DR kit and I decided on the 35" Terra Grappler for my tires so I should have these sometime this week. Here is the gallery.
