I just bought a 2002 F250 with a 5.4 and 83,000 miles. I was looking through the digital readouts where the tripometer is and found a 7 digit number, what is that? Also I washed the motor and now it skips really bad, did I foul some plugs? When taking off it "shudders" Could this be a bad u-joint? thank you!

 

no shudder, its skipping.. when you washed the motor off, water got down in the spark plug holes. You have to pull all 8 coil packs and blow all the water out. should run fine after that.

as for the 7 digit number, no clue.. never run into that one
