Question Identifing from a VIN #

I am thinking about getting a used F250 for my construction buisness. The one I am looking at is a 94 460 and the VIN # is 1FTHF26G6RNB64600. Could anyone tell me the options that came on this truck?

JGD,
you won't be able to tell many of the options from the VIN but it looks like (and keep in mind i know mostly newer trucks) that it's a regular cab from the 2nd F, - i'll chk with the stuff I have at work in the morning, and should be able to confirm some more. You'll be able to tell what body, driveline, motor, where and what year it was built, as well as the truck's sequence number ( from the last 7 of the VIN ).

Thanks for the info. I bought the truck for $8500. It is the cleanest F250 4X4 that old I have ever seen. It was loaded with every option I can think of so I hope it lasts for a while. At least I can keep some miles and abuse off my 99 dodge 1500 4x.
Thanks again. JD

the F26 will tell you it's a reg cab 4x4, G = 460 motor, 6 means nothing, R means that it was built as a 94 model, N means built in Norfolk VA...and it ends with 12-17 vin positions as a build sequence.

Sorry, but you can't determine trim or options. oh, and the H in position 4 means that it's in the 8501-9000 GVWR class.

hope that helped.
