Post OK, I am kinda mad now...

Last night, I submitted about 5-7 quote requests from 3 different dealers within my 30 mile radius and not one sent me any kind of acknowledgement or quote. I don't know if it takes more than a day to get this to me but it seems like the least they could do is acknowledge my request. One thing is for sure, when I go to the dealer in person, they are going to be dealing with a stubborn guy that will not take any gruff LOL. I am going to a dealer tomorrow because they have a similar truck to what I want. Its only difference is the color. I want a True Blue model and the one they have is red which is a nice color too. I have done so much research in the last 3 days, they will not be able to pull any fast ones on me. If they try, I will get up and say "No thanks, I have a better deal at (insert dealer name)" I actually do have 3 dealers that have comparable trucks to look at so I am not really lying when I say that.

So hopefully, I will be getting a truck tomorrow if all goes well.

I want a big truck, but I really don't need a 4x4. The F-350 4x2s still sit higher than any Chevy or Dodge 4x4 so I may just go for that. The 4x2 F-350s sit 77.3" high which is higher than Chevy or Dodge by a bit. Then again, the 4x4 F-350s sit at like 80.4 to 81.something. Thats really high

If I got a body lift for my new truck, would that void the warranty? If not, how hard are they to install?

Thanks

You need to check with the dealer that you'll be taking the truck to for warrenty work on the lift vs warrenty. My dealer told me that if I had only a 2" lift and it was done by so & so (probably a cousin to the dealer) that it would be covered by warrenty but if I had it done by someone else, then no.
Warrenties are a funny thing, you get one with the truck, you're covered by the MM act that states you have warrenty if you add on aftermarket parts but Ford seems to be going out of their way lately to void them. Go read www.ford-diesel.com in the engine & drivetrain section about the showing of codes on the computer. (the topic list a few codes but I can't remember them now)
