Lightbulb $1 and 30 minutes for trick lights

Cheap trick for SD front signal flashers. You can have both the front turn signal lamp and side parking light, in the same housing, blink together or alternate when the parking lights are on. How much? Less than a buck! Here’s how: Remove the signal housing, two screws at bottom – long #2 Phillips needed. Give it a little tug and angle it towards the side of the truck carefully. Unscrew the bulb sockets. Open up the black plastic wire loom from the little parking light and remove the black wire. Cut the black wire 4 to 6 inches back from the lamp. Open the loom from the big signal lamp. On the drivers’ side you’re looking for the green wire, passenger side is white. Use a red splice connector to connect a short piece of 16-gauge wire to the green or white wire respectively. DO NOT cut the green or white wire, only splice into it. Loop the spliced on wire around to the black wire coming from the little light and connect it. The end of the black wire you cut from the harness is only a ground, but tape it up anyway. Try the turn signal, both should blink, now turn on the parking lamps, they should alternate. Looks cool. Make sure you use the black wire from the little bulb. Reply with questions or comments.
