The ZF Plant that is near Chestnut Mt. is actually a partial ownership of ZF called ZUA. The ZF plant that I work at is in Gainesville which is also in Hall Co. about 10 minutes from ZUA. We currently are manufacturing the 5spd and 6spd for the superduty. We are also going to make the 6spd for the GM. Internally they will basically be the same with some minor changes in the input and output side shafts. Externally the intermediate housing is the only shared item, but they do look similar. Anyone that has experience with a 6spd in a high mileage unit, I would like to hear from. This guy with all the miles is the most I've heard of since our 1 million cycle test that was done during the kickoff.

MD Curtis ........Let me see if I can get some information on the tranny repairs/maintanance. I still find it hard to beleive that many miles are on a '99. ;0

Wow, that is a lot of miles. I wonder how many tires he has gone through? And just think of how many gallons of coffee this guy must have drank in this truck!
