Post Superduty "sport"?

Any word on a future "sport" package on a Superduty? I love the Dodge's package, and wish ford had a package like they have on the F-150's.

No word. I wish they would, but they could make a 'tougher' looking package. Like a name "Bulldog", with these nice big smoke stacks and huge mudflaps! Oh, and a nice big rig horn on top!

I guess you could always build one, paint the grille, bumpers, and take the trim off, and put those stickers on, I hate the dodgey sport stickers on the hood side. Really Retarded.

Yeah really, the only sport the DO*G* may see is tug-of-war.

The tug of a winch onto a Ford SD rollback!

Hey Super Duty owners,

I'm a Lightning owner, but just out of curiousity, was wondering if anyone out there is running a modified V10 and if so how much HP is it, and how fast is it? What kind of mileage do you get? Do they have the V10 in reg. cab short bed?

No Regcab shortbed. You can get a Regular Cab with a long bed though. I wish they built a regcab shortbed, and supercharged it! Talk about a road rocket!

The 2000 F250 is available in a Regular Cab with the short (6') wheelbase with the V-10. You can get the 5 speed manual or the 4 speed automatic with either the 3.73 or 4.30 rear (both with limited slip). The 4.30 will obviously be a bit quicker off the line. The truck has a speed limiter at 95mph and the 'E' rated tires are only good up to 105 anyway. However, if you add a $375.00 superchip to get rid of the speed limiter and a $4,000.00 dollar Paxton Supercharger with a $1,500 Banks PowerPack and some different tires and wheels, and a little bit of fine tuning of the engine and tranny, you have the potential of ending up with a truck with close to 550HP and 630ft/lbs of torque. The problem still remains of moving 6,000lbs of truck however. Expect around 12mpg or so for the V-10, unless you have a lead foot.
