Post Island Blue (new color)

Has anyone seen the new Island Blue color? I was just wondering what shade it is. I have been dreaming about a bright blue SD. I personally don't care for the SD's color pallete right now. The green's suck (and I like green), the blue is so dark that its almost black, bright red is too common, black gets dirty too easy, tan is what 80 yr olds get, every work truck is white, silver is N/A in lariat... which leaves dark red and bright amber. Come on Ford, give us some colors!

No personal offense meant if you have one of the colors I ditched. FYI, my 97 F-150 is work-truck white.

Island Blue, according to the 2000 Ford color chart, is just like Teal Green. It isn't blue at all. Ford should put Atlantic Blue on the SD trucks. That would be real nice.... but that's another story.

I agree with bright blue, I love it. As you can see by my signature, I got the discontinued blue that was originally available on the SD's early on. Much nicer than the Wedgewood blue that is now available, it's more like "Royal Blue". My lease is up in 7 months and I want a 2000 in the same color as my 99, but I can't.

Doug.
