Motor Trend Report
Did anyone see the Motor Trend report on TNN yesterday? They compared the F250 Super Duty and the GMC 2500. I hate to say it but the GMC kicked the F250's butt in almost all areas. It didnt look good.

It was Car and Driver who did the test. Yes the GMC won, but the Ford is more of a work truck and still sells more!

Saw the show...
Only thing I have to say is: "That's what happens when you let car people do truck reviews." :-) Luckily Lexus does not offer a full size truck or the Americans would not stand a chance in these guy's eyes.

Could not let this one rest yet since that show got to me also...
Three words:
Solid Front Axle.
Also, since the tailgate height was such a big concern with these reviewers, maybe GM could bring back the El Camino. Ford would not stand a chance!! :-)

Is it just me or is it always the new truck that wins everything? When Dodge came out with the new design it was the god of all trucks according to all those magazines. Ford came out with the LD and it was the god of all trucks. Then Ford came out with the SD which gave a surprisingly smooth ride which was almost car like. Now Chevy comes out with a new truck and the SD rides like a freight train. It's amazing how much difference a year makes. All of those articles are crap and I wouldn't believe anything in any of them. Don't let someone else make a decision for you, go out and test drive them all and then decide.
