Go to Google. Type in what you want and everything should come up.

I am a member of FTW. If you want to see the list of mods and where to buy them, send an e-mail to spurbarranch@att.net
I will send you the link to my gallery.

103 mods.... Slightly I'd say.

I too am interested in a Mod for the F-250 V10.

Does anyone know if there is a different Y-pipe? The one on my '00 has a radical 180* turn in it out of the right bank manifold before it heads towards the cat. Very restrictive.

If one is not available, then I will modify it myself to create better flow.

Thanks,

MK

I am not sure but after reading different posts about the V-10, it seems that it needs some restrictions in the exhaust system to get low end power. Guys that have put headers on have said that they do lose power off the line but feel more power at the higher rpms. I would check into it before you do any work on the truck.

Thanks Skip.

I was planning on just straightening it out a little. I was at my shop/storage facility today, and noticed my neighbors '02 V10 doesn't have the 180* bend. I did notice that it looked like a 1 3/4" taper going into the larger pipe going into the cat though. That is the restriction you mention.

I tried my Cobra without mufflers. Some say it is better, but I noticed the lack of power, and the awful noise. These engines definitely need some restriction.

Thanks again.

Mike
