Tailgate question

I have a 1999 F250 Super Duty. My tailgate was stolen and I am having trouble locating a used one. I was told that an F150 tailgate will fit my truck. Does anyone have information regarding this?

I would say no.

As far as I know, the Superduty bed is deeper than the F150 so the tailgate would be/should be taller.

Yes, the tailgate - and even the tail lights - are the same. The only difference would be between a Styleside and a Flareside box.
