Thumbs up I"m convinced about my next truck

I am for sure convinced this is my next truck. A 200? F-250 4x4 with the V10 or diesel. I"m inspired by big trucks. For there looks, versatility and size. I love F-250's and 350's Although I don't necessarily NEED one but I do love them. Getting all the goodies is not an issue. I couldn't care less about the leather, custom guages or whatever. I like simple but huge. I"m currently 20 yrs of age and I have 98 Ranger Flareside. I really love the F250 and 350's It prolly won't be until a couple yrs down the road to actually getting something else, but this is what my heart and mind is set on. I had a 91 F150 and that was the truck that inspired me to like full sizes in the first place. I like trucks, I prefer them over cars and there more fun to drive than a small to midsize car. This is my dream truck:

2001 F-250 or 350 4x4
V10 or Diesel
long bed
ext cab or reg cab
ps, pb, cc
manual
fog lamps
oversize tires
reese hitch
fiberglass cap or vinyl tonneau
CD player
A/C I don't really care about

All in all I like trucks more intended for work and not to drive and ride like a car. I like my trucks like that and l like to keep them looking good doing work. Rock on,,,,,,,,91

go with the f250 for better ride quality than the 350 and the diesel for an awsome long lasting engine. get the a/c if you ever plan on having women ride with you, it really is important to them and will be to you depending on what color you get and how far south you drive. bed cover is nice but a 5th wheel is nicer and you can build a cool bed cover around it if your handy with fiberglass.

The F-250 and F-350 have the same ride quality.

Get the 350.

It will cost you between $400-$800 more at initial purchase, but resale is much better on 350s. (You will probably recover more than the initial added expense)

Again, I agree with the diesel for the same reasons; Longevity, power, fuel economy/fuel cost and resale value. But if you just dont like Diesels or really like gas, the 10 is a fine motor too.

Good luck

There's nothing like it, F-150_91! I just got my big truck last Friday and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's an F-350 Crew Cab, diesel, long bed, dually. I have absolutely nothing to haul or tow. I just use my truck as a daily driver. But, if I ever do need to work it, I know the resources are there.........
