Question Power sliding rear window

Hi Just trying for quick answer this p.m.

Saw reports etc...on the F150. Is this power slider available on the SD? Didnt see it listed under options for 03 SD.

Also...any window leaks.

TIA....OT

It's a dealer installed or aftermarket option. It would be nice if you could get them as a factory option.

When I ordered my 2000 SD, I got the power slider out of the Super Duty accessory catalog at my Ford dealer! I LOVE it! It is perfect! Not one problem with it. I will always have one on my trucks!

Post Question...

Where is the button/control located at when the power rear window is installed and does it look like a factory item?

And do they replace the entire rear window when they install it?

The button location on the F150 is as shown...

I'm pretty sure it would be the same for the SD. Not sure though...

The picture shown is a stock set up. Since it's not available as a factory installed option, I'm not exactly sure what the switch would look like.

I do know this... if you buy the kit from CR Laurence, you recieve the window, wiring, and a switch. The switch is a generic version of the switch shown above and doesn't look stock. I've hunted for pictures of what it looks like (as I have seen them in the forums once or twice) but, I can't find them.

Yes, it is a full window replacement. I just ordered mine and plan on doing that install in the coming weeks.

Personally, I got lucky and found mine on ebay for $195 but, I have to do the switch and wiring myself (no problemo). They typically run around $400.
