Has anyone found the correct hyper white bulb to fit fog lights on the 99 EB? The part number for the bulb is not at any auto parts store. I used 9006's before and had to replace the light assembly's. The bulbs melted the back of the fog light housing. Also, the "key tabs" on the bulb did not align correctly with the light housing.

 

9005's I believe fit almost perfectly. I forget what I used but I had to cut and grind the heck out of them. Lasted over a year and still burning bright though....

 

Im pretty sure, the expedition uses the 9007 series bulbs.

The headlight bulbs are 9007. The foglight is a 9145. The 9005 will fit with slight modification to the tabs or you can remove the plastic socket holder.
