Dealer Tech brags about doing 140 in CUSTOMERS 03 Cobra.

I read that post a few weeks ago after it first came out. The post has been edited slightly and you can no longer read the plate. For some situations, like when the customer complains of lack of power you need to kind of beat on the vehicle, although there is no need to go that far over the speed limit. You would be surprised though at how many people come in to repair shops and complain that there car has xxxx problem at 115mph, then it's up to the tech whether or not he wants to go that fast.

Jon,
I'd be really surprised to hear of a dealership (much less their insurance company) that would approve of a tech knowingly breaking a traffic code. Short of having access to a track I can't see it being okay. Wrap it up to 115, lose control (cause you found the problem), drift over and head on with another vehicle. Try and explain that one.

Gosh, just read that 30 somthing page thread--what an idiot. I think one rotten apple such as that a$$ can screw it up for others. He got what he deserved. I was happy to see all the support for that lady. Makes me happy to witness peoples' decency.
