sub

the stock sub is an 8". go for the thunderform. i have one 10 in my expy with an external amp and it rocks. you will need to use some dynamat in the cargo area though.

This guy is selling a MTX 10" enclosure for 191+shipping on ebay. Is this good or should I wait. And can you tell me how you hooked yours up? I would love to install some small 4" speakers in the very back so my daughter can hear the music also. She always tell me to turn it up, because she can't hear it very well. I know the sub will introduce a lot of bass in the rear, but I don't plan on rattling the windows. Just need some good back round bass. Also how much dynamatting was used and were?
Thanks for any info
Oh, you can e-mail me if you like, louladot@earthlink.net

I had the install done at a local shop, but i would go for the one on ebay at that price. i actually got the enclosure(mtx) on a closeout special and bought a jl 10 to put in it. mtx woofer is just as good, though. just didn't want to pay that 300+ price for it new. if you don't want too much bass, just get a small amp(100 watts or so). i would line the entire jack storage area adjacent to the enclosure with dynamat. hard to tell where you need it until you give it a test run.
