Dealer here in Spokane replaced my rear wiper with no hesitation. Dont know if its a FOrd thing or just a good dealer but he won my business from now on. Hopefull I dont have to hit this wiper to make it work.

Post No problem but...

No problem with the rear wiper, but the rear window seal leaks along the top. Getting it replace under warranty....

Already had my rear and front motors replaced on my 01 EB under warranty.
The rear acted up again.
They now have replaced the twisting switch on the stalk and i have not had a problem yet.

Hey you know Jeff, my rear window seal leaks some too. Even the quarter windows. Usually only in hard rain or if I spray it just right. Either way it's annoying. I think I'll be adding that to my short list of warranty stuff to get done. Ok, that the only thing on the list right now but I need to get everything so I only have to go to the dealer one more time (it'll be the second, the first was the window moldings)!

Yep-

Hey 'Ride!
It leaks in the middle of the rear window in a couple of places. Nothing from the sides, and no problems with the door windows. But, with the windows, I think the Vent Shades are helping there.

Woke up this morning after a good snow/rain storm last night. Fired up my Expy to warm it up and when I drove off I noticed some little droplets on the rear window my wiper seemed to be missing. When I got home sure enough they were inside the truck. Nothing major just a few drops but my rear window obviously leaks from the top middle as well.

I'm laughing because I know exactly what you mean. That's how I first noticed it. Wipe and wipe and they just didn't go away!

LOL, Im glad Im not the only one who thought he was having a moment of insanity driving down the road. I was openly cursing the new wiper blade.

Although Id rather it be the wiper blade than a leak

BTW just notcied your from Flower Mound. I just moved out of Lewisville. Miss Big D already.

Rear Wiper and Window Leak

Hey everyone...must be a pretty common thing. I've experienced the intermittent rear wiper problem. Haven't had it replaced yet....seems to be working fine for now anyway. Also had to leak problem. Dealer fixed it once, and it seems to have come back. Although I've only noticed it once during a recent snow storm. It's 2000 so I have plenty of time on the warranty.

Wow, you did make a move! Yep, we've been in FM for a little over 4 years.

I bet it is hard to move from here to WA. Of course WA is different and sure has some beautiful areas.
