Do the rear brakes release? ABS? The flexible hoses could be the problem. Sometimes they collapse on the inside. Both probably would not fail at the same time? It could be the master cylinder. When the brake pedal is released, a spring in the MC pulls the plunger back and uncovers a hole that allows the brake pressure to be relieved back to the MC resorvoir. If this hole is plugged, the pressure can't be relieved.

Hi! Have fixed your problem? I have the same issue with a 2007 Navigator (same frame and brakes)

Thanks!
