Navigator Engine Swap to F150

Please excuse me if this topic has been discussed before. Has anyone ever transplanted a '99-'01 32V 5.4 Navigator engine to an F150 ('97-'03)? It's always sounded like a cool project for someone who had the skills to do it. I "may" have a line on a 32V Navigator (guessing '00 - '01 model) in unknown running condition, which would probably not come with a usable title and body-wise is pretty rotted out. How hard would it be / what would be the challenges? In this figurative case, the donor vehicle would be entirely available. Thanks.

you'll need Engine, harness, PCM, wiring, transmission, and new driveshaft

Patman,
Thanks for the feedback. I was hoping the vehicle was available for haul-away from a local garage (where it has sat for 3-4 years untouched). I spoke to the owner today, and he told me that in a couple weeks he's going to scrap and junk it, and couldn't sell it to me as a whole. The owner is unreachable and hasn't contacted the garage in years. I would have paid him fair scrap value for it, but from a legality standpoint he says he can't sell it to me. I only live like 1 block from this shop and could have pulled it home. He says that it was brought to him after the factory stereo was stolen and the truck would no longer start. I guess the stereo is tied into the vehicle security system. So there's probably nothing wrong with the drivetrain. It's a shame it's going to get crushed. The owner did say that if there were certain parts I wanted off of it, he would let me take them cheap. Is there anything anyone might want from it that is reasonably removable (no drivetrain or large major components)? If so let me know and I'll try to pull them. Thanks.

I may be too many years removed from this, but does/is anyone still doing the Navigator front clip conversions to their F150's? That was a thing maybe 10-15 years ago, but may have already gone out of style. I always wanted to do it, but knew I could never afford the parts, then totaled my truck. I might pull the clip from this truck if he'll let me. Just curious.
