2015 Navigator

http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/...ntcmp=features

The Lincoln Navigator is charting a slightly different course for 2015.

The full-size luxury SUV has been given a fresh face with its own take on the brand’s signature split-wing grille, along with a new engine to breathe through it.

Replacing the 5.4-liter V8 in the current Navigator is a version of the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 used in the Lincoln MKS and MKT, here with at least 370 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque.
Replacing the 5.4 with the 3.5 Ecoboost!

I wonder if they are going to do the same thing with the Expy? I wouldn't doubt it, they must be close to running out of 5.4's by now.

Why the HELL haven't they had 5.0s (or EB)? I just assumed the Nav and Expy had the 5.0 and/or Ecos.

I think it's pretty ugly. It looks like a bigger MKT, which is one of the ugliest cars on the market.

I like the looks of the Navigator a lot better then the old one.

Anyone have any idea when Ford plans to officially debuted the Expedition.
I have thinking for the past 3 years that Ford would upgrade the motors to 5.0s and EBs. I sure hope it doesn't get that god awe full nose form the 2015 F150.

I don't find anything saying the Navigator will have the 5.0 even as an option. So I hope the Epy does. I am not a big EB fan. I do however really like the 5.0 Coyote motor.

I have not seen or heard anything about the Expy, and that's the only article I've seen so far on the Navi. I doubt Ford would offer different powerplants for the Navi and Expy simply from a cost standpoint.

I think its pretty sharp. And in theory the front clip would swap on to the 10th gen trucks

That's all we care about, ain't it?

I want to see if it'll be possible to retro 2015+ panels onto my 06 . . . But I still think they're ugly, so we'll see how they age haha

I have to say I do like the new Navigator's appearance, interior and exterior, the new Epedition is pretty sharp too. I especially like the new EPY Platinum model interior.

That said, it would seem they have killed the V8 from the both models and therefore, I am seeing a 15' 6.2L V8 Denali in my future. I really like the looks of the new 15' Ford Twins better, just can't deal with that little turbo V6. Even though the 5.0 v8 is short on power compared to the GM 6.2L, I sure would have still given the Ford Twins a really close look before making a final decision. No V8 so I guess Denali it is.

I'm betting the 5.0 will be available, and even it will blow the doors off a 5.4 in both performance and economy.

All the press releases are reporting they are only going to off the Ford twins with an EB v6 no more V8.
