Alternator - Drive Belt

Alternator went after nearly 15 years of service!
Went to AutoZone & purchased new alternator, Dayco drive belt & belt tensioner. After 3 weeks the squeals started. Sprayed the inside of the belt with water & the noise went away. Narrowed it down to the belt tensioner area. Went to AZ to swap out belt tensioner & the noise was still there. Then I put the old Motocraft drive belt on & the noise is gone. I am going to monitor over the new few days to see if the noise comes back. Should I pay extra for a Motocraft belt of Good Year Gatorback belt?
Thanks

Dayco belts are ok, but I've ran into some oddities with them.

I prefer either Motorcraft, Goodyear Gatorback, or a premium belt from Dayco, like the Polycog (similar to the Gatorback).

I'm running the Gatorback on my engine.
