Is there a fuel pump control module on a 2007 Lincoln navigator?

Is there a fuel pump control module on a 2007 Lincoln navigator? If so where is it? I have looked in the normal place and nothing. Searched up and down both fram rails and nothing.I looked in my book and it says the fuel pump is controlled by the pcm. I called ford and they list a fuel pump control module for it... I looked at rockauto and they list one for the 2007 and 2008 navigator ???? Also has anyone experienced a melted fuel pump connector (the gray one with 2 wires off of it , that is in the tank- on top of the pump). It just seems very unsafe for this to happen... Thank You

The fuel pump module is the entire fuel pump assembly located in the tank. I don't think the PCM controls the fuel pump, only the injectors ( open/close)

OEM pump and sender goes for about $250 from Tasca.
