Auto Lights

I am going to be tearing my dash apart to replace the turn signal/ flasher switch, and repair teh odometer. While in ther I had though about replacing the light switch with an auto on version. Is teh wiring already in place for this? Is there a sensor that needs to be added? Is it even worth considering. I have gotten a little spoiled with the auto lamps on my Lariat, and Infiniti.

I'd also be interested in this.. My thought is that we'd still be missing the sensor.. Not sure where it is on our gen but on the newer mountaineers and I'm guessing our expys its behind the rearview mirror

From what I have read in a another thread, the sensor mounts in the dasf, replaces a cover.

Your were supposed to read my mind. :o
My understanding is the sensor actually mounts in a panel on top of the dash.
