Just bought the wife a 2011 XLT EL and love it. Only issue is it doesn't have load leveling like the 2012. I have searched and cannot find aftermarket bags. Anyone know if there is a manufacturer that makes aftermarket bags for the 2011? We bought the truck to tow a travel trailer and haul our massive clan of hoodlums.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

My EL was an 09' but I didn't opt for the load leveing either. It was availble I just didn't think I was going to need it. Mine was sort of wishy washy so to speak when it came to towing. I was able to improve the stabilty somewhat by jumping up to a little larger LT tire. I had a 07 Suburban prior to the expy and the solid axle is just a lot more stable for towing, this year I swaped the expy EL for a Tahoe and now have the solid axle out back again, and that seems to be the difference, even with the shorter tahoe wheelbase it does not get pushed around near as much as my EL Expy.
