Transmission Cooler Ford Expedition 2007

How can I determine what size of auxiliary transmission cooler will fit in my 2007 Ford Expedition XLT? Someone commented that I should install the biggest one that would fit but I'm not sure how to measure that? I'd like to purchase one on-line and would need to know how to determine the appropriate dimensions.

What is a good brand?
Should it include a fan?
Should I have a temp gauge installed in the process?
Do you recommend any particular websites?

I'm towing a 6000# Travel Trailer and as a result am in the process of replacing the torque converter. My mechanic has recommended a transmission cooler to help reduce the heat. He's also going to install a lock switch to lock the torque converter while in tow. Need advice on which transmission cooler to purchase. He suggested we get one at AutoZone. Would one from AutoZone suffice or is it a better idea to purchase one online that is of better quality? Thanks in advance for the recommendations.
