Hi all,

I recently had my kenwood navigation unit stolen and have temporarily put my stock radio back in place. However, it seems that the thieves must have done some accidental damage as the drivers side tweeter no longer works. I was hoping to do some checking on the amp to see if it's an issue there or if it's somewhere downstream.

Anyone know where the factory amp is for the front speakers? Also, anyone know how the front speakers are wired up (tweeter in series with mid, or direct wired to amp?)

Yeah, it's the premium sound with the sub amp. I know the sub amp is attached to the sub in the rear of the vehicle, but I can't find the front amp.

 

yes it is, if its anything like the 97-2003 it will be behind the dash, directly behind and belore the factory radio. Its alot smaller than you think it should be.
