Lightbulb New Modifications

Has anyone noticed any MAJOR differences in the 97/98 Expeditions, and the Newer ones (99-01 Other than the front bumper). Also I was considering making them to mine, if they are'nt 2 major. If anyone has any input please let me know....
Thanks
~Q~

All I know of is the homelink system becoming available in 2000 I believe, a boost from 235 to 260 hp in 99, and a wider center console with no armrests on the seats in 99

Thumbs up Quite a few, but not too many major ones

Yes, the Homelink is new, but for 2001.

The '99 was the intro of the higher HP 5.4ltr. Since then they have the "PI" heads making 260HP and 350 lbs/torque.

A lot of little things with the interior and a couple of problems fixed along the way. With the Expy market reeeaaally soft right now, you should be able to pick up a late model '99 or '00 really right. You should be able to find a loaded '00 EB 2x4 for mid to upper 20's. A '99 for 22k-24k. And if you want one that been driven hard and seen better days, really cheap!

Whoops, maybe its 2000, but the front seats have no armrests and the center console is widened to become the armrest and for more storage space i believe. I tend to clump in all the changes along with the 99 fascia/engine change
