Anyone replaced the fuel filter on the 2000 Expy without the Ford tool? I'd be interested how because I was under my truck today and had no idea how to pull the filter out.

From what I've heard, don't even try it without the tool. Appearently you can get them really cheap, like $5 or so at most any auto parts store. Not for one you'd want to buy if you were making a living at it, but for a shade tree guy doing one or two.......

Got the tool from NAPA for $17. Real easy job with the right tool!
