Thanks for the info.
Looks like I need to shorten the distance between the battery and the inverter and no problem if I need to lengthen my 12-2 for the receptacles.
Now the question is, does a 40 amp relay exist that I can connect such thick 0 gage wire?

You can afford 2 for a hundred bucks. Check this one out 800 watt for 50 bucks not bad. Get it and come visit me and we'll install it together. You not too far from where I live.

OK so, I though 1 more lil hole in the expi wouldn't hurt. I needed a usb connection so I can charge my phone and Ipod.
So I bought this piece for $6.00
Then I open it up and took the guts out:
And thought I'd install it here in between these two connections.
Then hot glued it and solders the line to my inverter's receptacles:
And now I got a usb connection:
