Topic pretty much describes my question. I have a little unit under my rear view is it possibly for a stock alarm. I am asking because I did not get a alarm remote when I purchased this vehicle used. It's on a 98 Eddie Bauer Expo. Please let me know.

Also does that year come standard with a alarm system?

 

If I'm not mistaken, that's for the compass on the overhead display.

 

:o Not how to answer that one! It's not anything for an alarm system. They don't come with alarms. They have PATS, but not alarms but it has nothing to do with a rearview.

Could it be the switch to turn auto dim on and off? Little faint green (I think) light when it's on.
