Question Dash Power Plugs. **Please Read**

Recently bought a 2000 Expedition EB. On the Dash is the Dual round power plugs for your cell phone or what ever electronic you want to hook up. There's also a power plug on the back of the center console for the rear seats to have power. the rear power plug is the only working plug. Both front plugs dont work. I Didn't get the ext warranty so I can't go back and ask them to fix it.
They did tell me over the phone that it might be a fuse but he said he also assumed the plugs would all be on the same fuse. Anyone had this problem?

Thanks
Shawn

Do you know if there is just the one fuse for all three or maybe a seperate fuse?

They are proabably seperate. Get teh owners manual out and flip to the index, look for fuses and there will be a couple pages of fuses descriptions. You''ll find what you're lookin for there

The DVD for my '01 shows 3 different fuses.

The cigar lighter (one of the two in dash I guess):
Central junction box (under dash) #3 (20A)

Power socket in dash:
Battery junction box (under hood) #1 (20A)

Aux Power in console:
Battery junction box #4 (20A)

Be sure to keep the covers on those plugs when not in use. My 3 year old stuck a metal ring in one and for some reason it didn't blow the fuse, but it killed my battery! Probably was barely making contact, just enough to drain the battery.

Yup, diff fuses. The one on the rear of the console was out on my '01 for over a year before I realized it had it's own fuse...it's in the fuse box under the hood.
