My 97 exp. was stolen
My 97 expedition was stolen out of my driveway. Is this possible with the PATS key system? The Insurance co. is giving me a very hard time, It has been over 6 months and they are still investigating this.
We have 1-Pats key, and 1- valet key, we have misplaced or lost the other PATS key.
The insurance co is telling us there is no way to steal this vehicle with out the key. I find this almost impossible, especially with todays technology.
Please if this has happen to someone any info, or advice would really be helpful to me.

Are they kidding?!? Impossible to steal?!? Who are they, All Snakes or Snake Farm? They'll say whatever possible to keep from giving you your money. It could have been stolen with a tow truck and taken to a chop shop for all they know!

I worked as a ford tech for the past 9 years, and ever since pats came out in 96, ive never heard of a way to defeat it, it works at the pcm level. I would think that it was towed out of your driveway.
