Well it wasn't my trans.....

I had posted a while back that I thought my torque converter was going bad but it turned out to be a misfire and not the TC slipping so I changed my coil boots and my spark plugs out and the problem is GONE!!! It took me almost 2 hours and some scraped up arms but it was alot easier than replacing a torque converter. I read in another post in the engine section and talked to a ford mechanic and that's where I found that it was a common problem for the coil boots to get small cracks in them and they start to arc through the cracks and ground out causing a mis at certain rpms. I wanted to post this just incase anyone else has this problem and assumes it is the torque converter (like I did).
