Floor shifter & console-
As cool as that looks on the F-150 FX4 & Lariat, I must admit my disappointment in Ford not offering that on the Expedition for 2003.
Would anyone happen to know if Ford's going to offer that availability on the Expedition? That looks so much better than the 70's style column shifters.

I too like the idea of a console shifter but I like the dash accents of the Expy much more than I do on the new F150. The main drawback of the console shifter is it eats into the console space of which I always need more of. There is one thing I really don't like on the Expy 4x4 is when the column shifter is in the normal drive position, I cannot see the selector switch for four wheel drive at all, it's totally blocked by the shifter. I think someone didn't have their thinking cap on when this was allowed to happen.
